CFB Film Room may have figured out the key to stopping Alabama’s offense: bring the pressure to quarterback Jalen Hurts.
According to the website’s Twitter, Hurts has completed 7 of 27 pass attempts while under pressure this season.

That’s bad news for the Tide who face three of the SEC’s best pass rushers during its next three games.
Alabama will face Tennessee’s Derek Barnett on Saturday, Texas A&M’s Myles Garrett in Week 8 and LSU’s Arden Key in Week 10 following a bye week.
Key leads the SEC with 7.0 sacks while Barnett (5.0) and Garrett (4.0) are tied for third and fifth respectively.
But let’s not discredit Hurts who is coming off back-to-back games with more than 250 passing yards and two touchdowns, as well as having recorded a 60-percent completion percentage in five consecutive games, including a season-best 76.5 percentage in Week 6.
CFB Film Room also broke down how the true freshman has flourished in Lane Kiffin’s offense, which includes 347 yards, four touchdowns, one interception and a 64.7 completion percentage on third down.
Lane Kiffin deserves a ton of credit for simplifying game plan for Jalen Hurts. Very high % of throws in areas with low degree of difficulty pic.twitter.com/S1OdaZMM3w
