As followers of SEC football, we’re all keenly aware of the perpetual “arms race” that is facility upgrades in major college football.
Athletic departments go to great lengths to make sure that football players have state-of-the-art facilities because, frankly, it makes for a great recruiting tool.
Today, we’re taking a look at the SEC football locker rooms.
Not to get into a debate on whether or not players are fairly compensated for their contributions to their universities, but I chuckle when the average fan expresses their dismay with the treatment of football players in the SEC.
These guys change their clothes each day in a locker room that is fit for royalty, and that’s really just the most basic part of the amenities found in a typical SEC football facility.
No matter which side of the aforementioned debate (that we’re not getting into) you fall on, I think most would concede that the facilities in the SEC are downright lavish.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but when it comes to these SEC locker rooms, sometimes even pictures don’t do the facilities justice.
So, where possible, we have added the option to take a video tour of each of the league’s football locker rooms:
Alabama Crimson Tide
Arkansas Razorbacks
Auburn Tigers
Florida Gators
Georgia Bulldogs
Kentucky Wildcats
LSU Tigers
Mississippi State Bulldogs
Missouri Tigers
Ole Miss Rebels
South Carolina Gamecocks
Tennessee Volunteers
Texas A&M Aggies
Vanderbilt Commodores
