Tre Harris delivers ice-cold quote about his killer mentality during NFL Combine

Tre Harris is looking to carve out his case as one of the best wide receivers available during the pre-draft process. While at the NFL Combine, the Ole Miss football star at least delivered one of the quotes of the week when it comes to his mentality on the outside.
Speaking with the media, Harris described his matchups against defensive backs as “will vs. will.” He also went on to say he prides himself on being able to win those battles and steal the soul of the man guarding him.
“For me, it’s definitely will vs. will. I feel like whoever’s will breaks first is going to be the more dominant player in the matchup,” said Harris. “That’s something I pride myself on. Being able to go out there, go against the DB and take his soul.”

No matter his mentality, Harris was truly a lethal weapon for Lane Kiffin and the Rebels, but teams interested in the wideout will like that response. Across the 2023-24 seasons, Harris racked up just over 2,000 yards with 15 touchdowns and averaged 17.7 yards per catch.
Harris is among the bigger body types of receiver and was listed at 6-foot-3 at Ole Miss. He will be in action with the rest of the receivers on Saturday, and his testing will likely play a key role in how he can further build his case for the draft.
