Tre Harris was previously reported to be a game-time decision for Ole Miss’s Week 9 matchup against Oklahoma early Saturday morning. It seems the Rebels have found their answer.
According to Pete Thamel, Harris will not suit up for Ole Miss Saturday against the Sooners. Harris is dealing with a lower body injury that he suffered during Mississippi’s loss to LSU 2 weeks ago.

As you can see above, Harris is as productive as they come. He leads all receivers in yards by nearly 100 this season, sitting at 987 yards (not 935) with 6 touchdowns. Harris is averaging an amazing 141 receiving yards per game so far this season.
Oklahoma is also running into some injury issues. The Sooners are missing 5 receivers once again for Saturday’s game after some rumbles that Deion Burks would be ready for a return against the Rebels. Oklahoma’s passing game has been horrendous, but Michael Hawkins Jr. and Jackson Arnold have been playing with their hands tied behind their backs for much of the year.
Kickoff for Week 9’s matchup is set for Noon from Oxford, Mississippi. The game will be aired on ESPN.
