Trevon Diggs continues to have a sensational season for the Dallas Cowboys as the former Alabama star hauled in his 11th interception of the season early in the Sunday night game against the Washington Football Team.

Diggs tied Everson Walls for the most interceptions in a season in Dallas Cowboys history. Diggs picked off Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke early in the first quarter. Walls picked off 11 passes with the Cowboys in 1981, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The Cowboys scored on an Ezekiel Elliott touchdown on the ensuing drive. This isn’t the first time Walls and Diggs have been mentioned in the same sentence. Diggs earlier this season became the first Cowboys player to open the season with an interception in each of the first 3 games since Walls did it 36 years ago.
