Trey Dean gave Florida head coach Billy Napier some good news on Wednesday evening.
The Florida senior defensive back, who received another year of eligibility due to the COVID year in 2020, announced that he was returning for the 2022 season.
“It has been said that a journey is never ending,” Dean said on Twitter. “There are lessons to be learned along the way. There will be adversity. There will be growth. There will be endless opportunities to improve. The work done in the dark when no one else is around. All those things make the journey worthwhile, but despite all that, still know that the journey isn’t quite done yet. For me, I know I still have work to do. See you in The Swamp this fall.”
Dean started 11 games during the 2021 season, and he made 88 tackles. During his 4 years at Florida, Dean has accounted for 174 tackles and 4 INTs.
