Tua Tagovailoa led his Miami Dolphins to a fourth-quarter victory against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1.
The QB had a fantastic day, throwing for 466 yards and 3 TDs. Perhaps no drive was more impressive than the final drive of the game when Tagovailoa put his team ahead with less than 2 minutes to go.
Tagovailoa and wide receiver Tyreek Hill have been building chemistry and the duo linked up a couple of times on the final drive. Tagovailoa hit Hill for a huge 47-yard gain that set the Dolphins up in Chargers’ territory.

All of this led to Tagovailoa again hitting Hill, this time in the end zone, to give the Dolphins a 36-34 lead.

36-34 would be the final score after Dolphins’ kicker Jason Sanders missed the extra point and the Chargers failed to score.
Tagovailoa’s Dolphins start the 2023 NFL season off 1-0 and will next play the New England Patriots.
