Tunmise Adeleye, former Texas A&M edge rusher, announces Big Ten commitment
Tunmise Adeleye is heading to the Big Ten. He announced his commitment to Michigan State Wednesday afternoon after spending just one season with Texas A&M.
Adeleye didn’t see much playing time his freshman season, recording just 4 tackles on the season.
Adeleye came into his freshman season as a 4-star recruit according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He was the No. 39 national player and the No. 9 defensive lineman in the country.
The transfer portal has taken a toll on Texas A&M this year following a disappointing season under Jimbo Fisher. The Aggies have lost at least 20 players to the transfer portal so far, including some big 4-star players.
The Aggies finished 5-7 this season despite being ranked inside the top-10 to start the season. They are looking to get back on track next season and are on good track, boasting the No. 15 recruiting class for the class of 2023.
