Laremy Tunsil’s draft stock was crushed by a video that was released on his Twitter account moments before the NFL Draft began on Thursday night.
He dropped from a consensus Top 5 selection all the way to No. 13 when the Miami Dolphins decided to take a chance on him.
Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze and former Rebels QBs Bo Wallace and Ryan Buchanan were among those that came to his aid.
Freeze gave a television interview to ESPN’s Suzy Kolber, during which he said Tunsil was handling the adversity well and that it could turn out to be a blessing in the long run if he emerges from it a better man.
Among his comments were as follows:
Here’s what former Ole Miss teammates have said about the situation on Twitter:
Can't understand how someone would ever want to do this to someone. One of the best people I've ever been around.

I feel awful for LT..he doesn't deserve this. Besides how great of an athlete he is, one of the nicest most humble guys I've played with.

Just a low life who would hack a kids Twitter account

I've been around LT for two years now, and he's one of the best all around guys I know on and OFF the field. God has a plan ??

That Tunsil video should be a learning experience for high school and college athletes out there.
