Twitter reacts to first Coaches Poll of 2018 season, which features 5 SEC teams

The first Coaches Poll of the 2018 season was released on Thursday, and five SEC teams were ranked — Alabama (1), Georgia (4), Auburn (10), Mississippi State (18) and LSU (24).

It was the first college football preseason poll of the season, and it came without many surprises regarding SEC teams.

Alabama was in a familiar spot atop the poll, as the defending national champions received 61 out of 65 first-place votes.

Just saw an interesting nugget. MSU has been ranked in the preseason coaches poll three times since 1991. They finished unranked in all three of those seasons, 1993, 2001, 2011.
