Twitter reacts to Alabama, latest College Football Playoff Poll
By Alex Zorn
Published:
The next set of College Football Playoff Rankings were released Tuesday night, later than usual thanks to college basketball, and Twitter reacted to Alabama’s worthiness to supplant Clemson at No. 1.
And, as expected, Big 12 fans have something to say about their conference’s snub once again by the Playoff Committee. The Big 12 has yet to get a team in the Top 5 from this committee.
With only 140 characters you’d be surprised how creative these fans, and even some college football analysts, can get about voicing their displeasure on Twitter:

Jeff Long said there was some discussion about moving Alabama to No. 1. IMO the Crimson Tide grab that spot before the playoff gets started.

Alabama still at No. 2. Ohio State No. 3. Wouldn't be shocked if that flips if OSU beats Sparty.

@joshburke2 Alabama lost at home to a team with 3 losses and they want them to be #1. It's funny to me

Alabama is the best team in the country. That does NOT mean they should be ranked #1. Losses have to be penalized to some extent.

Nobody has ever loved a loss more than the committee loves Notre Dame's loss to Clemson

Selection committee to the world: Nothing to see here. Move on.

Stanford is four spots higher in the CFP than it is in the AP. It would take quite a few upsets … but I'm saying there's a chance.

Of potential CFP conundrums on board, is 11-1 ND vs 11-1 OU most difficult decision for No. 4 spot? Texas could play huge role after all.

Im starting to think the #collegefootballplayoff is based off fan bases.. and money talks when it comes to traveling and supporting teams.

If Notre Dame wins out and makes the Playoff there’s going to be some unhappy Big 12 fans.
How is Notre Dame ahead of Ok State in the CFP. Notre dame hasn't beaten anyone decent

The hate for Alabama continued, ignoring the fact that the Crimson Tide are playing the best football in the nation.
"…Beside The Loss", the story of Alabama football in the College football playoff era, a new 30 for 30 coming to ESPN in December.

I don't understand how a team with a home loss can move up the rankings amongst undefeated teams #collegefootballplayoff #ncaa

Yep! If you don't play anybody you don't get in Iowa and Oklahoma State!

Believe it or not, there were a few happy fanbases after this week’s poll including Oklahoma at No.7, Florida at No. 8, and Navy coming in at No. 16

With two weeks left to play before the conference championships there’s still plenty of chance for top 10 and even top 5 teams to lose.
