Two CBS sports analysts have pinned an SEC game to be the potential “upset of the week” for Week 9 of the season.

That’s the contest between Mississippi State and Arkansas in which the Razorbacks are largely projected to have the upper hand, but that is certainly not to say that the Bulldogs, who have shown some signs of life at certain points in the season despite it overall being a down year, will not have a chance here.

Both Aaron Taylor and Rick Neuheisel picked the Bulldogs to pull off the upset with the home field advantage,

“Michael Van Buren, Mississippi State’s quarterback, will lead them to the promised land,” Taylor said.

He also noted that 8 of the Arkansas Razorbacks’ turnovers have happened on the road, which could be a trend affecting them that proves to be the ultimate deciding factor if this becomes a toughly fought, close game.

Arkansas looks vulnerable right now and will be aiming to shake back after suffering an embarrassing, 34-10 loss to the LSU Tigers in Fayetteville.

It will be interesting to see which team ultimately comes out on top when the Bulldogs and the Tigers face each other at 12:45 p.m. ET on Saturday in Starkville.
