Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight and Alabama defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick were named the Walter Camp National FBS Players of the Week, according to Fox Sports‘ Bruce Feldman.

Knight recorded with 239 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions on 17 of 34 passing, as well as 110 yards and three touchdowns on 15 rushing attempts during A&M’s 45-38 double-overtime victory against Tennessee. He also scored the game winning touchdown on a 1-yard run.
Fitzpatrick recorded three interceptions during the Tide’s 49-30 win over Arkansas, including a 100-yard return for a touchdown. Both statistics were Alabama school records.
