Top-graded edge defenders in CFB
Derek Barnett, TENN, 91.1
Myles Garrett, A&M, 90.9

Jordan Willis, KST, 90.1— PFF College (@PFF_College) November 2, 2016
Tennessee’s Derek Barnett scored a 91.1 and Texas A&M’s Myles Garrett received a 90.9. The juniors were followed by FAU’s Trey Hendrickson (90.8) and Kansas State’s Jordan Willis (90.1).
Barnett leads the SEC with 9.0 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss. He also became the FBS’ active career sack leader with 29.0 after recording three in Saturday’s loss at South Carolina. He currently trails Reggie White’s Tennessee sack record of 32 by 3.0.
Garrett has recorded 4.0 sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss — which ranks fifth in the SEC — despite being limited by injuries in 2016. In 2015, the Arlington, Texas native led the conference with 12.5 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss. Garrett also set the SEC freshman record for sacks with 11.5 in 2014, which edged Barnett’s 10 that same season.
