On Monday, Will Muschamp released a spring depth chart in wake of his first spring practice as the new coach at South Carolina. As anticipated, the quarterback position listed five different players — all whom are expected to get a crack at the starting job for this fall.

It looks like redshirt senior Perry Orth and redshirt junior Connor Mitch are going to get the first shot.

Mitch was named the starting quarterback when the 2015 season began and got the call in the first two games before injuries derailed him for the rest of the campaign. Meanwhile, Orth has appeared in 14 career games, completing 54.5 percent of his passes (144-of-264) for 1,934 yards with 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions, adding an additional 125 yards and two scores on the ground.

Still, with 14 more practices to go and then an entire six months before the start of the regular season, there is still plenty of time for Muschamp to decide on a signal caller — and he has quite the selection.

South Carolina will host its spring game on April 9.
