Former Florida standout WR Tyrie Cleveland suffered an injury during practice on Monday with the Denver Broncos.
With what initially was described as a possible torn Achilles tendon, Cleveland went down in a ‘scary fashion‘ during the final play of minicamp practice.
The current Broncos wide receiver took to Twitter Monday evening to give an update on his condition:
I’m okay everyone! MRI came back good ??
I appreciate y’all ?— Tyrie Cleveland (@Tyrie_1) June 14, 2022
Cleveland was drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The 6-2, 209-pound wideout has recorded 6 receptions for 63 yards in his 17-game NFL career. His impact has been mostly on special teams where has played 216 snaps.
Thankfully, it doesn’t appear that his 2022 season is over just yet!
