Updated betting odds have Scott Frost as favorite for Florida job

It appears there is a new betting favorite for the open head coaching job with the Florida Gators.
The head coaching rumor mill hit full force this week after Florida dismissed head coach Jim McElwain on Sunday. McElwain was in just his third season with the Gators, but a number of issues ultimately led to his dismissal.
Since that time, a number of names have been mentioned as a replacement for the Gators. Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen quickly became one name mentioned as a potential candidate.
Mullen does have a connection to Florida after serving as offensive coordinator from 2005-2008 and helping to guide the Gators to two national championships. Former Gators All-American Alex Brown took time to voice his approval of Mullen Monday.
Mullen even opened as the betting favorite to take over for the Gators, but that line has since changed. As of Wednesday morning, the betting favorite to take over at Florida is current UCF head coach Scott Frost according to OddsShark.
OddsShark shared the news on Twitter:
Scott Frost has leap-frogged Dan Mullen in the odds, he's now at EVEN money to be named Florida's next head coach.

Here are the updated odds:
Frost has a 13-7 record over parts of two seasons at UCF, but the team is off to a 7-0 start this year. Frost previously served as the offensive coordinator at Oregon.
