It’s hard to believe another SEC football season has come and gone. With another conference campaign behind us, it’s time to take a look at the SEC record of every head coach currently in the league.
Led by Nick Saban, six current conference head coaches — including Auburn’s Gus Malzahn, Florida’s Jim McElwain, Georgia’s Kirby Smart, South Carolina’s Will Muschamp and Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin — have .500 or better records in league play. That’s not even half the conference’s coaches.
Here is where each current coach stands in terms of how he has fared in SEC play. And because we play no favorites at SDS, we have listed them in alphabetical order by school name:
