WATCH: Eddie George says Ohio State should be punished severely if guilty

In a new video interview with TMZ, former Ohio State running back Eddie George says that his alma mater should be seriously reprimanded if the internal investigation yields any evidence of a cover-up.
“Domestic violence is unacceptable at any level,” said George. “If it is indeed that, then the punishment needs to be handed down and it should be severe. There’s no way that someone should cover up anything of that magnitude.”
The results of the independent investigation into the OSU football program have not been released yet, but it could happen sometime this week. George says that he has faith in those handling the internal investigation and that they will do their due diligence and come to the right decision on how to proceed.
George also says that he believes this Ohio State team could potentially be the best team in program history.
