Urban Meyer is predicting the SEC will pull off a new College Football Playoff first: two teams from the same division.
The FOX college football Twitter account recently shared the CFP final four picks for its CFB analysts, including Meyer. The former head coach with three national championship rings of his own predicts that both Alabama and LSU will get the chance to play for a shot at another national title. Meyer’s predicted champion, however, is Clemson.
Meyer’s colleague Brady Quinn goes a step further. The former Notre Dame quarterback sees Georgia, LSU and Alabama all making the final four, along with Clemson. Quinn thinks the Crimson Tide will win it all.
If Alabama, Georgia and LSU continue to stay undefeated, we’re likely to be having endless debates about the loser of Alabama vs. LSU and/or the SEC Championship Game possibly making the final four. The first CFP selection committee rankings are set to be revealed on Nov. 5. Buckle up.
