During a radio appearance on Thursday, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said the Buckeyes have inserted a special field goal return play into their weekly practice routine.
The name of the play has SEC connotations:
Urban Meyer says Ohio State now practices a field goal return play. The name? “Bama.”

Of course “Bama” is in reference to Alabama’s memorable “Kick-Six” loss to Auburn in the 2013 Iron Bowl.
Ohio State beat Alabama in last year’s national semifinal game before beating Oregon a week later for the national title.
