Things continue to get strange for Southern California’s football program.

After firing head coach Clay Helton early this week following 42-38 loss to Stanford and a 1-1 record, the Trojans may be also looking for an aviation mechanic in addition to Helton’s replacement. And that’s not a good thing.

Check out this picture of Southern California’s team plane in Pullman, Wash., as they were on the runway reportedly with players still on board. The entire front end is off the ground, while the backend is on the ground — and not just the weels.

Yeah, that’s unsettling to say the least. Thankfully, though, everyone seems to be OK, but we’ve never seen a plane do this.

USC plays at Washington State today at 3:30pm EST.
