Jeff Driskel left Florida as a much-maligned quarterback.
Gators fans gave him a collective good riddance as he left for Louisiana Tech.
Then he threw for 4,000 yards and led the Bulldogs to a New Orleans Bowl victory.
Perhaps Driskel has played well enough to get a shot at the NFL. If so, he may see former teammate and Gators cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III on a pro field.
