Florida’s All-American cornerback Vernon Hargreaves was injured today in practice. Hargreaves was hurt after a routine tackling drill that turned into a nearly 30-player scuffle.
Hargreaves reportedly exited the scuffle limping and could’t put much weight on his left leg. The extent of the injury is still unknown, and Will Muschamp is expected to meet with the media Friday at noon.
Hargreaves was a third-team All-American, and he’s one of the top cornerbacks in college football.
Update: Hargreaves only suffered a bone bruise, and is day-to-day.
