As a classic ESPN commercial once demonstrated, “Roll Tide” can apply to almost any everyday situation.
On the most recent episode of the A&E show “Live PD,” an arrest made at a party broken up in Walton County, Fla. features a presumed Alabama fan asking if he’s on TV. When told yes, he makes sure to get in a “Roll Tide.”

A&E’s social media team seems unaware of the SEC humor here, highlighting the, “Hey, Mom,” in the channel’s longer video of the arrest.

For more instances of Alabama fans making sure to say “Roll Tide” when getting arrest on TV, Richard Johnson at SB Nation has compiled “an intimate history.”
