Video: Butch Jones, Tennessee players sign autographs for Gatlinburg students
The Gatlinburg fire has recently ravaged parts of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 14 people have unfortunately passed away, and there’s been over $500 million dollars worth of damages.
The flagship school within the state, the University of Tennessee — as well as others — have made efforts to help those currently embroiled in heartache.
For its bowl game versus Nebraska, UT will wear its Smokey Grey uniforms and helmets in tribute of those lost in the Gatlinburg fire.
In addition, the football team traveled to a Gatlinburg school in order to sign autographs for the students in attendance.
Credit Tennessee for trying to offer some sort of joy for those currently reeling over this catastrophe.
