Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts is a man of few words. He doesn’t speak to the media, and ultimately lets his play do the talking.
The true freshman out of Texas has truly taken the SEC by storm with a run of scintillating performances.
On the year, Hurts has thrown for 2,454 yards and 21 touchdowns. He’s also accrued 840 yards on the ground — to go with 12 touchdowns. Above all else, he’s led Alabama to a perfect record.
Prior to the SEC Title Game versus Florida, CBS ran a cool pregame piece on Hurts’s rise in becoming a star. Among the highlights, head coach Nick Saban and teammate O.J. Howard delved into what makes Hurts a special player.
