Auburn University has a unique tradition where, after any major victory, fans flock to the famed Toomer’s Corner to roll the trees as a way to celebrate together – a family of fans making memories that will last a lifetime.
For Jeremy and April Jordan, carrying out that tradition on the night of Nov. 1, 2014, had an even more special meaning as the two were not only celebrating an Auburn victory over Ole Miss, they were celebrating a brand new marriage.
“We planned to roll Toomer’s Corner after an Auburn win without a doubt.” Jeremy said, “We walked into the reception to Eye of the Tiger, complete with orange and blue shakers. We were sure to have TVs with the game on and given the implications of last night’s game, it turned out to be the main attraction.”
“We’ve experienced two SEC Championships, two National Championship runs, and one title from that very spot. The natural thing to do after a win is to run outside, toilet paper in hand, and let it fly.”
