A video has emerged from a brawl outside the Alabama-LSU game when fans were found to throw punches against one another, and then tangle with a responding deputy, WBRZ-2 reported.
There was an arrest after a man injured a deputy on the scene, which was outside the stadium near Mike the Tiger’s habitat. One man is seen getting punched multiple times, while another man appears to be unconscious just feet away.
LSU officials said the man was arrested and booked for battery of a police officer. The deputy reportedly sustained minor injuries.
In other news outside of the game, a woman fell from a dividing wall at Tiger Stadium ramp during the game. She was in stable condition and did not require transport to the hospital at that time, an LSU spokesperson told The Advocate.
Inside Tiger Stadium, the memorable play was how LSU defeated Alabama 32-31 in overtime when LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels ran for 25-yard touchdown, then found tight end Mason Taylor for a needed 2-point conversion.
