Video: Excessive celebration in the Celebration Bowl ultimately costs team the game

It’s more than acceptable to celebrate good times…only when it doesn’t become a detriment.
In the aptly-named Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl, North Carolina Central experienced both jubilation and despair within moments of each other.
Down seven points, NC Central launched a long pass with 2:17 remaining in the game. Quentin Atkinson hauled in the throw for what looked like the game-tying play.
However in the heat of the moment, Atkinson ripped off his helmet and celebrated with his teammates.
The celebration penalty resulted in a longer extra-point attempt. After that…you can probably guess what happened.
