The University of Florida’s football program started in 1906 and it took them 90 years to win its first of three national championships (1996, 2006 and 2008).

The Gators are coming off the 2015 season as SEC East Champions and will begin its 2016 campaign at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 3 when the team hosts UMass. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
