Eryk Anders was a linebacker on Alabama’s National Title team in 2009.

During the BCS Championship game versus Texas, Anders led the Crimson Tide with seven tackles. He also had a strip-sack of UT QB Garrett Gilbert — which ultimately helped Alabama extend its lead.

Anders played briefly with the Cleveland Browns, and also had stints in both Arena Football and in Canada. Ultimately, he transitioned to the ranks of MMA. He won five amateur fights before debuting as a professional fighter in 2015.
