While quarterback Jacob Eason gets all the attention and hype placed on his shoulders, another first-year player many Georgia fans are excited to see on the field this season is offensive lineman Ben Cleveland. The 6-foot-7, 319-pound five-star, early enrollee signee could not only fill a potential hole on the line this season, he could prove to be the team’s most talented offensive lineman this season.
But don’t think for a second Cleveland is simply coasting on his status as an elite recruit. In a video recently posted by Georgia assistant director of strength and condition coach Aaron Feld, the freshman certainly looks to have the strength to play on UGA’s line as a true freshman:

That’s 475 pounds Cleveland is squatting in the video…
Having the opportunity to work with renowned offensive line coach Sam Pittman should only help Cleveland maximize his potential in Athens. It wouldn’t be a shock to see Cleveland crack Georgia’s starting lineup before the more heralded Eason during their freshman seasons.
