Georgia announced earlier this week that it will be bringing its black jerseys out of retirement for this weekend’s non-conference matchup with UL-Lafayette.
On Friday afternoon, its official Twitter account released a short teaser that gives fans a sneak peak at the “blackout” in Athens.
Bulldogs athletic director Greg McGarity said before the season that the team would bring back the black jerseys at some point this season. They haven’t worn them since losing Alabama 41-30 during the 2008 season.
You can check out Georgia’s (6-4, 4-4) stylish alternate uniforms on the SEC Network when it hosts the Ragin’ Cajuns (4-5) at noon ET tomorrow.
