There’s two sides of the coin in sports.

Fans rejoice during a victory and are somber in defeat, especially in a game that is decided in the final seconds. To no surprise, Georgia’s radio call of Tennessee’s game-winning Hail Mary pass was one of the gloomiest soundbites of Week 5.

Scott Howard and Eric Zeier provided the call shown above beginning with the Bulldogs’ three-man rush and ending with Jauan Jennings’ touchdown. You could hear the immediate despair in Howard’s voice once he realized Jennings made the catch and Tennessee won the game.

Tennessee’s broadcast was obviously much more positive. Here’s a clip of Bob Kesling’s call for comparison.
