Former Tennessee cornerback Inquoris “Inky” Johnson was on track to achieve his dream of playing in the NFL before an injury on Sept. 9, 2006 changed everything.

Johnson, who had a tough upbringing in East Atlanta, suffered a life-threatening injury against Air Force. While making a tackle, Johnson severely damaged the nerves and blood vessels of his right brachial plexus. The incident left him with a paralyzed right arm.

Johnson is now a motivational speaker, and this incredible video surfaced on Twitter with the Crim High School product sharing his life story.

The season prior to his injury, Johnson played in 11 games and started six, leading the Vols with 8 passes defended to go with 30 tackles.

The video, which has caught the attention of many since its release, hit home to one former LSU standout. Tyrann Mathieu, currently recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered in Week 15 of last season, reached out to Johnson after seeing the video.
