The Florida Gators held tryouts for a new kicker on Wednesday, and 216 students showed up with hopes of becoming a Gator.
Florida head coach Jim McElwain spoke to the hopefuls before the tryout began. His advice was simple: kick the ball through the uprights.

Both of the kickers on Florida’s roster have been injured this year, and that led McElwain and the Gators coaching staff to hold the tryout on Wednesday.
