If you are a top NFL quarterback prospect, there’s an excellent chance you’ll be asked to participate in Jon Gruden’s QB Camp. It has quickly become a rite of passage for every top quarterback prospect looking to earn his opportunity at the NFL level and now it’s Joshua Dobbs’ turn.
The former Tennessee standout is looking to become the next quarterback to surprise at the game’s highest level and follow in the footsteps of players like Dak Prescott and Tom Brady — neither of which came into the NFL with much hype but have found great success nonetheless.
ESPN aired a segment of Dobbs’ interview with the former Super Bowl-winning head coach during a Thursday morning SportsCenter. As has come to be expected when the media meets with Dobbs, his extracurricular activities were at the center of the conversation.

Dobbs didn’t travel alone, as his former college coach was also in attendance taking notes during the segment.

Dobbs was the only SEC quarterback invited to be on Gruden’s QB Camp this draft season, although former Tennessee quarterback Nathan Peterman, who transferred to Pitt, will also be featured in another edition of the program.
