Not much went right for the Ole Miss Rebels in the first half of their Peach Bowl showdown with TCU on Wednesday. The Rebels trailed 28-0 at halftime, committed three turnovers in the first half and were out-gained by 158 total yards through 30 minutes of action.
But none of it was as bad as the injury starting left tackle Laremy Tunsil suffered in the final minute of the half.
Tunsil, a second-year starter and All-America selection, suffered a fractured fibula when a player rolled onto the back of his leg and bent him backward awkwardly.
ESPN sideline reporter Shannon Spake confirmed the diagnosis on the game broadcast, and a number of reporters stated a press box announcement also confirmed the injury.

According to 247Sports, Tunsil was the top offensive tackle prospect and No. 4 overall prospect in the class of 2013. The former five-star recruit has started every game he’s been healthy for in his two seasons at Ole Miss, and is regarded as one of the best returning offensive tackles in the nation in 2015.
