Video: Mississippi State’s ‘Relentless’ series chronicles win in Samford game

Mississippi State released the latest episode of its “Relentless” series documenting its 2016 season.
The episode chronicles the Bulldogs’ 56-41 victory over Samford, which includes highlights from the game and analysis from head coach Dan Mullen, as well as the players involved.
Mississippi State’s win included a breakout performance by quarterback Nick Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald threw for 417 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions on 20 of 35 passing, while also rushing for 119 yards and two scores on 19 attempts.
The quarterback capped off the victory with a 1-yard touchdown run with 5:14 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Wide receiver Donald Gray also enjoyed a huge performance in last week’s win. Gray recorded 207 yards and three touchdowns on four receptions, including two catches for more than 70 yards, becoming the first SEC player to accomplish that feat in a season since 2014.
The Bulldogs will host Texas A&M on Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium.
