Some see the national semifinal matchup between Michigan State and Alabama as good vs. evil.
At least those outside of Tuscaloosa want to depict coach Nick Saban as the bad guy. One fan took it a step further, making Saban into Darth Vader, and depicting Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio as Luke Skywalker in one of the pivotal scenes of the Star Wars franchise.
But the best part of this silly video may be the depiction of a smiling Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh as Chancellor Palpatine, for some odd reason:
People enjoy connecting movies and sports. But, seeing as how this is “only” a national semifinal, perhaps for a metaphor this is being a little dramatic.
