You’ve heard of the grinch that stole Christmas.
The officiating crew in last night’s Hawaii Bowl felt the need to follow suit.
Cincinnati receiver Chris Moore scored a fourth-quarter touchdown in the middle of 42-7 loss to San Diego State. Perhaps in a spur-of-the-moment decision, Moore flipped the ball to a young boy in the first row of the stands.
Of course, the officiating crew flagged Moore 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Aren’t things supposed to be more chill than this in Hawaii? Especially during Christmas?
