Video: QB Josh Dobbs speaks fondly on time in college during NFL combine
Former Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs had a very polarizing career in Knoxville.
As a senior, Dobbs accumulated 2,946 yards and 27 touchdowns through the air, and also rushed for 831 yards and 12 touchdowns. He demonstrated immense ability as it pertained to running the football and evading defenders.
As a passer, it was more of a mixed bag. He was prone to throwing ill-timed interceptions, and was also plagued by accuracy issues.
Dobbs ran the second-fastest 40-time of any signal-caller at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis — registering a 4.55 mark. This sort of athleticism — coupled with his intelligence — makes him a very fascinating prospect.
