Video: Randall Cobb 3-TD day propels Green Bay Packers to win in playoff game

Former Kentucky Wildcats receiver Randall Cobb was questionable coming into Sunday’s playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and the New York Giants.
A balky left ankle had forced Cobb to miss the last two games of the regular season. It wasn’t certain whether he’d play at all in the Wildcard contest. However, the Packers’ pass-catcher was able to impact Sunday’s proceedings — and in a big way.
Cobb caught five passes for 116 yards and three touchdowns in Green Bay’s emphatic 38-13 victory over the Giants. The Kentucky product made a huge play at the end of the first half — as he hauled in a Hail Mary attempt courtesy of signal-caller Aaron Rodgers:

The momentum in the game completely flipped with this grab — as it gave the Packers an 8-point lead heading into halftime. Later, Cobb caught two more touchdowns, for 16 and 30 yards, respectively.

With Rodgers and Cobb performing at a high level — coupled with the likes of Jared Cook, Davante Adams, and Jordy Nelson, Green Bay looks like a huge threat to the Dallas Cowboys’ Super Bowl chances.
