Who’s going to win the College Football Playoff semifinal between Alabama and Michigan State?
From the perspective of one Spartans fan, the Crimson Tide are a heavy favorite — and not just in Las Vegas.
This self-proclaimed Media and Information student at Michigan State created a video entitled “Destiny in Dallas,” presumably to prove how much that program gets overlooked, or even disrespected.
In the video, several media analysts all the Spartans something less than elite.
Players like Duke’s Jeremy Cash, Baylor’s Corey Coleman, Oklahoma’s Ty Darlington, Arkansas’ Hunter Henry all picked Alabama, while Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield left it at “Alabama’s Alabama.”
One analyst on CBS did pick Michigan State “reluctantly.” Does anyone think that the Tide are going to lose this game?
The Michigan State student’s narrative isn’t totally unfounded. Sports Illustrated recently misspelled Mark Dantonio’s name on the cover of their magazine. And SI isn’t the only one unsure about the Spartans head coach.
