Video: ‘Tecmo Bo’ returns in new ad

For football gamers in the late 1980s and early ’90s, it was all about the video game “Tecmo Bowl.”

One player was considered unfairly good in the game: Bo Jackson. When trying to account for his off the charts size and athleticism, the game made Jackson virtually impossible to stop for opposing defenses. Gamers to this day still refer to “Tecmo Bo.”

Kia has decided to bring back “Tecmo Bo” for a commercial that will air during the Thursday night NFL kickoff game between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers:
