Video: Todd Gurley gets huge reception at Georgia-Florida basketball game
Georgia and Florida are playing a basketball game tonight at Stegeman Coliseum, but the Bulldogs took a moment to put a former football star in the spotlight.
The school congratulated Todd Gurley for winning the 2015 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award during a timeout.
The then-St. Louis (now Los Angeles) Rams running back won the award with 27 votes, earning 10 more than former Florida State QB and current Tampa Bay Buc Jameis Winston.
Gurley was named to the Pro Bowl after rushing for 1,106 yards, 3rd-most in the league.
Here’s a video as well as some pictures from the reception he got on Tuesday night in Athens.
