During the second quarter of Saturday’s Auburn-LSU showdown in Baton Rouge, CBS sports analyst Verne Lundquist let the world know that the oldest player on LSU was actually 76 years old.
Punter Jamie Keehn, in fact, is not 76.
We think the 95-degree heat in Death Valley got to Uncle Verne.
Twitter reacted in hilarious fashion:

Verne just said a man on a football field is 76 years old, and I don’t know

I swear I’ll chip in some $$ toward a fund to get Verne to just retire. Like today. I can’t take another season of him ruining SEC games

See what I mean? He just said LSU’s punter was 76 years old…That would make him about a 50th year senior. I can’t with Verne 😩
