We came into 2016 knowing it was going to be a down year at the quarterback position for the best conference in America.

Nevertheless, we probably underestimated how many teams would be shuttling different signal callers in and out of the lineup this early in the season. Only five programs have had a definitive guy thus far.

Chad Kelly of Ole Miss — unquestionably the premier passer in the league when the schedule began — has lost two games and committed six turnovers. He still has a dangerous right arm and can put points on the board as fast as anyone, but his chances for a national title and a Heisman Trophy are long gone.

By the time Week 4 kicks off Saturday, six SEC schools will be on their second starting QB already. A handful of others continue to rotate veterans and youngsters alike with varying degrees of success.

Be sure to watch the video above for a review of the good, the bad and the ugly so far under center in the SEC.
