Zack Dobson surely carried his brother’s memory with him as he broke what could be the play of the year in Fulton High School’s first regular season game since tragedy struck.

15-year-old Zaevion Dobson was killed by gunfire while protecting three teenage girls last year. He was honored with an ESPY at this year’s awards show, which his mother and two brothers accepted in his memory.

Zack had his own way of honoring his younger brother, though. Taking a handoff against Morristown-Hamblen East on Friday night, the senior broke through the entire defense en route to a 60-yard touchdown.

It’s a play that’s worth watching more than once.

Dobson, who is currently committed to Middle Tennessee State, is rated a 3-star athlete by 247Sports.
